Your inbox is the hub for all two-way communication with your contacts. Here's how it's organized.
Channels: Your inbox supports two channels — **SMS** and **email**. Each conversation shows which channel it came in on.
Status: Conversations are marked as **Open**, **Read**, or **Unread**. Keep your inbox at zero unread messages to make sure no one slips through the cracks.
Contact record: When you click on any conversation, you'll see the contact's record on the right side of the screen. You can add notes, update tags, and edit their information without leaving the conversation.
Assigning conversations: In the Starter plan, all conversations are assigned to you by default.
**Pro Tip:** Make it a habit to check your Conversations inbox every morning. Five minutes a day keeps your follow-up game strong!
