Your Conversations inbox is where you send and receive text messages and emails with your contacts. Here's how to send a text.
To start a new conversation: 1. Click **Conversations** in the left sidebar 2. Click the **+** or **New Conversation** button 3. Search for the contact by name or phone number 4. Select **SMS** as the channel 5. Type your message 6. Click **Send**
To reply to an existing conversation: 1. Click **Conversations** 2. Find and click the conversation in the list 3. Type your reply at the bottom 4. Click **Send**
Tips for better texting: * Keep messages short and conversational — one to three sentences is ideal. * Always introduce yourself by name on a first message if they might not have your number saved. * Texts sent from your account come from your assigned number — remind contacts to save it!
